Before you Sell your House...
Here are a few tips and ideas you might want to consider before you list your house:
- Have a yard sale. Sell, donate, or get rid of everything you don't want to take with you. This will make moving a lot easier!
- Make sure you make arrangements for a moving company or do-it-yourself mover way in advance. This is especially important during the busy summer months.
- Don't get so anxious about buying a new home that you neglect the improvements you need to make to your current house to prepare it to show.
- To improve curb appeal, try adding many bright flowers in the most visible places -- walkways, entryways, and porches. A great way to do this is to buy a few large flower planters. It is inexpensive, you don't have to rearrange your current landscape, and you can take it with you once the house sells.
